Massa wins in France as Raikkonen hits trouble |
|
Sunday, 22 June 2008 |
Felipe Massa benefited from an exhaust problem for
his Ferrari teammate Kimi Raikkonen to take victory in the French GP
and move into the world championship lead.
Kimi 's exhaust problem cost him the win, but nobody else ever got close enough to the red cars for this to be a problem to the team.
Jarno Trulli held off McLaren's Heikki Kovalainen to claim third and take Toyota's first podium finish since Melbourne 2006.
