Raikkonen sets blistering Bahrain pace
Wednesday, 06 February 2008
Kimi Raikkonen continued to set the pace at the Sakhir circuit in Bahrain, where Ferrari and Toyota are testing this week.

Helped by improved weather conditions, with nearly no wind, the Finn managed a best time of 1:30.595 after carrying out a Grand Prix simulation with the Ferrari 2008 challenger F2008

Raikkonen's best lap was over 2 seconds faster than the pole position time of last year's Grand Prix.

Ferrari’s veteran test driver Luca Badoer was once again second on the timesheets, on a 1m32.230s, and spent the session focusing on general development of the F2008.
